Nutrition, Water and Logistical Support for the Lead Water Crisis.

Community Help Centers

Three Community Help Centers are open in Flint to serve as wellness resource hubs for those effected by lead-tainted drinking water in the ongoing Flint Water Crisis.  These Community Help Centers are open four days a week and provide food, water, and personal care items free of charge as well as onsite physical and mental health services to Flint residents.

*The Flint Community Help Centers are managed by the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, in partnership with Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Genesee Community Health Center; Genesee Health Systems, GST Michigan Works, the PepsiCo Foundation, the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, and the United Way of Genesee County.


The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is working to procure and distribute water and lead-mitigating foods to Flint residents.  Contributions to the Flint Response Fund are designated for these relief efforts.
